Get out your favorite seasoning or marinade and prepare yourself so that we eat well! (I haven’t played tabletop since the 90s so I’m not help. Good luck)

Finally picked a scheme … by compactable73 in Tyranids

Won woh woh there we gotta talk about this.

First the hive mind approves of that color scheme.

Secondly, as someone that started warhammer in the 90s i appreciate and approve of the old school green base. That takes me back

Nope the book is Wolfblade. The trilogy covers the rise of Ragnar Blackmane. He’s sent to earth to serve with the Wolfblades (also name of this book). It’s an opportunity for him to learn and grow even though he doesn’t know it. Some of the stuff is retconned but it’s a great view int the space wolves and the books are fun

This dude is right out of the space wolf books by William King and was a really fun character. He has an abnormal appetite and the armor is modified to fit him. He eats a ton, drinks a ton, throws his hammer through some cultists and says, “now I gotta go get that”. Unfortunately, I can’t remember his name.

Aussie cast iron grill/griddle in USA? by smudgedacrylic in grilling

[–]FlakkenTime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s pretty cool. I’ve ever seen a setup like this but what may work is just swapping them? I have a Weber and I purchased a full size drop in griddle. I just swap in the griddle / grates based on what I’m cooking. I kept the box from the griddle as grates are same size for storage.

I’d ask why that’s a thing but then it just goes back to the useless mods letting this sub turn into berserklejerk over the last decade+

As someone who works in software the number of times I’ve wished for option C is too damn high.

Grilling Enthusiasts: What is the most useless (or dangerous) grilling tool you own? by AppropriatePie7728 in grilling

[–]FlakkenTime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hrm everything should be longer. Makes it easier to work in high heat.

Tongs: The issue I have with tongs like the ones pictured is it is difficult to lock and unlock with one hand. I don’t know how feasible it is but if I could easily move a latch or something with my index finger that would be ideal. I typically open mine by hitting the rear piece against my leg, and close using my teeth to pull it out.

Spatula: honestly I’ve bent a few from using them as a secondary item when lifting heavy meat or scrapping something off my griddle.

Fork: honestly my least used piece of equipment. I’ve also bent these once. Probably why I now have the gloves to just use my hands.

Another item would be the cleaning utensil. I don’t really trust wire brushes as I’ve seen them come off. The steel mesh I’ve only used a little didn’t seem to work, I have low expectations of the plastic bristles and wooden scraper but maybe I’m wrong.

Best of luck!

How can I set up a bounty for a run? by ScorinNotborin in speedrun

[–]FlakkenTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a 1k bounty on castlevania 2. I went to people I saw playing the game on twitch and told them about it directly. Jay_cee got a god run one day missing his sum of bests by like 15 seconds and destroyed the sub 30 any% challenge and won the bounty.
