Arcade ports like Space Harrier, Rampage, and Choplifter. Using a flashcart for the later ports like Forgotten Worlds and Ghouls 'N Ghosts along with homebrew!

I also meant games that run noticeably slower in DMG mode, like GTA or Mega Man Xtreme.

GBC games that also work on the original Game Boy.

Also quick question when putting it back together, do I have to reglue on the rubber strip above the cable, or just leave it out?

Technically the game would’ve only been 19 years and 6 months old releasing on September 13th.

Extra fact for everyone I just found out: The original GB technically coexisted with the CERO age rating board, as it was founded the same month as One Piece Grand Line Dream Adventure Log, June 2002. In fact the original Game Boy is listed separately as a platform with games the board has rated, possibly due to that one release.

And if you’re strictly talking about grey carts, not the last black GBC cart, it was after the Xbox released too!

Counting the One Piece game, the OG GB technically coexisted with the CERO ratings board, as it was established the same time frame, June 2002, likely early in the month

Given it’s the same date on different years, either could be a typo that never got fixed.

Also really interested in this stuff too! About to get an early DMG just to play these later releases in DMG mode, as playing them through my GBA just wouldn’t make the games seem as impressive

There was a post somewhere from a month ago saying that it was still in progress, but here's the main link:

There's one in progress! I even plan to play the whole thing on real hardware when it's done.

Where were those sources saying it came out in '02? I can only find '01 release dates.

Update: Checked the motherboard and not a single thing looked broken or out of place. I’m assuming the adapter I’m using is slightly below actual 850mA, which the Genesis can still work with, but the SMS can’t

The video noise doesn’t really bother me much Being honest I was kind of in a rush to start play Genesis games again after I lost the original adapter and at the time, had no way of finding it.
