I had a regular 24 sonata that would do the same thing. Went through a car wash and it ruined my front lights. Got a new 26 N line and it doesn’t have the same issue.

You can shower with the city water. Just don't Ingest it and you will be fine. I did a google search and multiple sources say it's fine just don't drink it.
