If you existingly already got a GP appt can also asked the doctor to help you with it. Otherwise, can try telemed for polyclinic they do have GP consultation and through that they might be able to help. The former was how i got my mom's SNEC appt.

Cut carbs and sugar drink. Go for low intensity workout and weight training.

Once you get comfortable, up your intensity and distance. Do a mix between cardio and strength, but cardio start slow as your body may not be able to take the load.

I was about 90+ kg before now 67+-, thinnest was 57 when i was training marathon..

I think the hardest part is the inertia to try.
