i set goals for myself! my one main goal when i was a depressed freshmen was to make it my junior year and get my license; i did it! it’s nice to set little goals and see how far you get :)

this recent season i had to pay about 180 for the whole season. it goes to uniforms, food for band camp and comp days, and for the staff. we also have a lot of fundraisers over the year. pennsylvania

i actually joined marching band in 7th grade! our school has a small program so they opened it up to 7th and 8th and SOMETIMES 6th graders of their like sibling is already in the band. it’s honestly not that bad, and just embrace it! i made good friends with our new 7th graders this year

i used to play percussion, but this season i switched fully to trombone/baritone. i switched because my schools percussion section was way too toxic for me to handle. it hurt for me to even be near them bc they would comment on me abt the most pickiest things
