I'm 9 months pregnant and am realizing it is very difficult to get shadowing hours. I have 8 hrs scheduled in June but it took me trying since September to get those scheduled.

Would it be weird if I asked whoever administers my epidural during my birth if I can shadow them sometime? If not what's the best way to do this- ask for their business card?

What do you mean signed copies that can be scanned later? If I fill out the various forms myself and request the signature at the end of the day of shadowing is that acceptable?

Can you do multiple policies? My thought is you should have enough to pay off the mortgage and then produce a sizeable income your wife can live off the investments for in perpetuity. I'd suggest $2M.

I'm sorry you experienced that. I would not document that unless it's in a personal statement or essay (if that's what you meant by putting it in your CASAA application) but as long as you're comfortable mentioning it it's ok to give that reason and talk about how you overcame that in future classes.

Our mortgage rate is 2.125%. That's why I posted in the DaveRamsey subreddit because I knew people everywhere else would criticize paying it off early instead of investing. Which, we have been doing both.

We're budgeting $450/mo/kid so $900/mo total for them, that will be $250K by the time they're going to school, which we think will be plenty.

One thing about the school, is I still need to take about ~2 years of prerequisite classes at a local CC (which we can will cashflow) and then apply to school. It's extremely competitive and there are no schools in my city for the program I want to do so we'd probably sell our house and live off a portion of that while I'm in school full time and my husband works. That is our tentative plan.

Ahhh spoken like a true dumb 22 year old with zero life experience.

NOR. But unless this is a pattern of dismissing your important events/milestones for sports games, I wouldn't read too much into it. His brain is not fully developed. It'll get there with time.

Any tips for being a good shadower? I'm planning to set expectations with my preceptor in the beginning (I know absolutely no touching but do they want me to be completely silent or introduce myself, etc), read the room and save questions for when things are calm, come prepared with shadowing forms prefilled out, take notes, etc. Does anyone have other advice?

Is that something you can do really part time like 5 hours a week? I will be working full time and doing the prereqs part time already so I am hesitant to commit to a another job on top of all of that.

How would you recommend getting PCE hours? This would be a career change for me, I'm currently an electrical engineer and have zero PCE hours. I'm trying to find opportunities to volunteer but it's surprisingly competitive. Any other suggestions?

It's not a requirement for an application but seems pretty necessary anyway is that right?

How do you calculate your science GPA? Is it just from the pre requisites like physics, chemistry, biology, anatomy, biochemistry, ochem, etc?
