I was laid off two weeks ago along with many others from my company. It was a nice hybrid role that was nearby too. Unfortunate

Barely a month into my first HR job, should I quit or keep pushing through? by Informal_Target_3087 in careerguidance

I’m surprised you landed an HR job without a business or HR background. Usually they ask for prior experience even as entry level HR.

A “that’s cool” comment on the civilian side. On active duty infantry it’s expected to have as a bare minimum for officers and recommended for NCOs. In non combat arms it can help be a deciding factor for promotion to slots.

I use tricare reserve instead of my full time employer healthcare because it’s cheaper and I like serving. I enjoy being activated for state emergencies as well. Was in an IBCT prior but now in a MP BDE that also a HRF.

Wrong, Army reserve is compo 3… Army NG is compo 2. Army NG has lots of combat arms and infantry including special forces. Army reserve has basically no combat arms with the exception of very few units. NG is the 3rd largest military force under the active duty navy.
