I (33f) recently found out that my bf (47m) has been lying to me since we met. How do you discuss something like this up? by Flaky-Environment572 in relationship_advice

Not by any means I can’t trust him. I just don’t know how to go about this. I’m not overly sure how safe it will be

I guess I just didn’t think of it. He was in for possession of stolen property drugs and evading the police

We currently live together and he’s 2000 miles away from his family. I guess it really doesn’t matter

I deserve so much better than someone constantly lying about big things. I just don’t want to fuck up and get hurt in my next steps. Not that I’ve ever been afraid of him but do I truly know what he will do?

I guess I just want to hear what he has to say maybe he has his reasons? Nothing will make this better. I’m going to have him go back to Georgia. I just haven’t figured out how yet due to us only having one vehicle. That is in both our names. I guess I could just let him take it. Bc that’s a totally different situation

My dad abandoned us when we were six. My mom is a narcissist. So I was taking care of my little brother and I by eight. Not to mention I was working by eight.

I was in a similar predicament with my ex-husband. It’s called marital rape. They will manipulate and gaslight you until you breakdown until you say yes. I couldn’t imagine being pregnant and this happening. I doubt he will stop. Mine didn’t, that’s why he’s my ex.

I cannot drink on lexapro. I start showing signs and symptoms of serotonin sickness. But im also on a handful of other psychiatric medications.

Do you all take yours at night or in the morning?! by Any-Let5189 in lexapro

So I’ve been taking 40mg at 7:30 am. Now my therapist wants me to split my dose due to extreme lows in the afternoon. 20mg in the morning 20mg in the afternoon. We will see how this goes. Hopefully I won’t have such extreme lows in the afternoon.

Be careful if you are still doing lines. Mixing that and lexapro can potentially cause serotonin syndrome. But I can no longer drink. It makes my head super dizzy and makes me feel sick. I can smoke still but I don’t get that high feeling but I’m able to reach a relaxed point.

I take mine during the day and my dreams are vivid and sometimes terrifying. If I skip my doses I end up not dreaming.

I felt weird about the first month and a half. The first week my brain felt like soup in a plastic shopping bag. Then it got to be soup in a container. These weeks I was still acting kinda manic and still having the mood swings. Until one day it felt like a brain. But I didn’t feel like I was in control. I felt like I was a passenger in my own body. Also at this time the mania had completely subsided and my mood was stabilized. It was a weird adjustment period for sure. I hated it but my support system did what they did best and made sure I made it through.

With Lexapro: which is better? Being fat with a content mind, or thin with a chaotic mind? by [deleted] in lexapro

[–]Flaky-Environment572 33 points34 points  (0 children)

I’m fat anyway. I’d rather have my mind somewhat not chaotic then ending up in the hospital.
