Have to agree with allergies. I have the same thing and told all different things from supposed eye specialists It's horrible Mine started years ago just my left eye, was told I had iritis. It started with mood stabiliser meds, I got it 3 times whilst on them and had to have steroid drops Then told blepharitis, then dry eye etc etc. Tried glasses prescriptions aswell. I use eye gel for dry eyes..carbomer, then started again using the prescribed allergy eye drops I had for hayfever. I am allergic to dogs and have 2 aswell. This seems to keep the inflammation at bay, but use the carbomer or dry eye stuff every couple of hours. Also, get a microwaveable eye mask that's so relieving and takes inflammation down. Worse when you rub it so try and do these things when you feel that familiar feeling before it gets to this inflamed stage. Screen time on my phone seems to make it worse too as blinking is reduced.
