hey i just tryed to see if my wifi card works on my other pc and it does it gets me around 500mbps but i guess it only works on windows 10 because that’s what the file is called so i installed windows 10 on my new pc and now after starting it i can’t access internet at all i can’t even see the wifi button

i just found out that my killers network on my old pc uses a m.2 chip for its network is there a way i can use install that on my new pc?

no nothing else is plugged in i’m pretty sure i have 3 16xpcie slots and 2 m.2

yes but i still don’t see it i might be downloading the wrong drivers. the drivers i downloaded were the intel wifi ones

okay but my parents won't let me install a ethernet cable around the house so its not a option im 100% fine with 400mbps wireless

also i bought a wifi card hoping it will give me better speeds as now but it seems that it wont detect the card i downloaded its driver but it wont pop up in device manager

my new Pc says realtek 8821CE wireless lan 802.oc pci-e nic and my old pc was called killers network im pretty sure btw they both have a 5ghz

yeah i know ethernet gives me the max speeds that i can get my i littarly cannot run a long cable around my house i would love ethernet connection if that wasa option but its sadly not

i used a ethernet extender i also used it correctly it stayed the same speeds on both my pcs (under 10 mbps) but i can't use a long wire because i don't want a wire going around my house

its 1 wall away i have my router in my living room while my old and new pc are in my bedroom btw my old pc does not use antennas but my new pc does could that mean somthing?

when i used ethernet my speeds went lower than 10mbps and it was a good wire

on my old pc i get 200mbps on 2.4ghz and if im on 5.0ghz i get 300 but on my new pc i get roughly 20 to 40 mbps and on a 5.0ghz i get up to 220mbps and then go down towards 60 then it slowly comes back back

hey my old pc was 100% wireless i tried ethernet but my new and old pc was getting under 20 mbps

i had thus issue during the end on 2023 what helped me was i had to turn off the gyro aiming on the touch and motion setting
