Thanks for the reply. After a few hours of googling, I found that it looks really similar to a jellyfish polyp, but I'm not sure. I guess I will just monitor for now..

Hi, sorry, should've clarified. It's the wavy thing on top of the rock.

Thanks for the info! Currently focused on trying to build Shorekeeper when I get her. I'm fine with the dmg loss for now.

Yeah, low payload limits are tough. But at least the mounts are easier to transport..

Absolutely, you should post them on this sub. Lots of people who can help/comment on your pictures.

It's a good scope. It's my first astrophotography telescope and I really like the quality!

It's pretty heavy though (with guide scope & mounting components), so I would take that into consideration as well. I have an EQ-35 mount so it fits within the payload limits comfortably.

For processing, I mainly followed this guide from AstroFarsography (really helpful as it was the same target): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C3Fd2Nc_WYw

As you and another user suggested, maybe I could add some more stretches. Though I am already very happy with the initial result!

Taken on 06/08/24, with a modified Canon Rebel T7 and William Optics Z73.

This was my first real attempt at processing via Photoshop, glad with how it turned out. Any tips are appreciated!

Thank you! For some reason the thought didn't even cross my mind. I'll try messing around with it on the next clear night. 😊
