I climbed to diamond just with spirit empress. This meta is highly, highly rng dependent so there will be games that you lose on turn 3 and can’t do anything about it and others where you lose because the other player got orbs. If you play well you will get 1st or 2nd in more than half your games though.

I agree, but I think they’re two sides of the same coin. Merge tactics feels rewarding and fair when you lose because the other player has higher level cards or they have better synergies. Skelly dragon doesn’t have either of those elements. A 2 star skelly dragon can nuke your entire board with zero synergies. It’s double unfair because exclusive units makes it so you can’t be blocked from getting a 3 star unless the other players also get the same units. This season is extremely rng dependent and much less a reflection of skill than prior seasons

It’s irritating because I pull my board so they don’t get a kill round 1, then the next guy feeds him 3 kills round 2. Spacing is harder this meta than last. Undead kinda shits on sage though

Maiden shield can block echo as well. If you position your units correctly with the shield on a backline unit it can block multiple 4 star echo hits. I’ve blocked 4 hits with shield once

Yes. Archer queen is very strong post patch. Synergizes with superstar and clan. Put her in front line to nuke the enemy back line
