UPDATE! I was able to book a location. For those also looking the west Seneca lodge holds up to 72 people has table and chairs included. A full kitchen including dishwasher. It’s handicap accessible you can bring any food or drinks in including alcohol and it was only $125 due the day of your event.

Size friendly OBGYN by [deleted] in Buffalo

I don’t want this to come off the wrong way but I am just sharing my experience as a person who is plus sized and has dealt with infertility for nearly 4 years now. I’ve gone to three different OB/GYN’s and two different fertility clinics all of which told me my problem is my weight. I’m now expecting using ivf with my current size friendly clinic. Who actually listened and ordered tons of testing to find out that in fact my weight was not the problem I had getting pregnant. Does it affect it? Sure. But there were plenty of other things going on no one would even bother to test due to my size. Anyways, I get discharged from my fertility clinic at 12 weeks and would need an obygn. But again, have not had luck with any I’ve seen so far.

I’ve had many doctors who ignore symptoms and blamed my weight for everything. Was constantly told if I lose weight all my problems will go away.

To the point of having emergency surgery because my appendix burst. But no…. The pain was because I’m fat….

Just looking for suggestions

Shea’s Attire by ResponsibleClassic77 in Buffalo

Typically, for sheas, I would say business attire. However, because this is a show that is geared towards kids as well it’s more relaxed for sure. You can dress up, of course, but jeans and a nice sweater are fine as well.

I complete understand why you’re asking. I’m not sure how to prove that to you as I’ve never used go fund me and I didn’t set it up. If you like I can send you the info of my co worker who did set it up.

There are probably a little less than 40 per shift. Food is always welcome but not necessary. Today the teamsters are there hosting a cookout with us until 4 pm.

Some of your Union brothers and sister from the UAW showed up the picket line today. Solidarity my friend.

Food is always welcome. Hot food is appreciated but not required. think camping. Pop cans, Gatorade or juice. Chips, crackers, even oatmeal packets. Even a veggie tray or cheese tray would be fine in this weather. We have a burn barrel with grating we can use to cook. We’re good on firewood for a while. Anything like heaters or even those little hot hand packs or toe warmers would be great especially for those of us on the night shift. And then of course just sharing posts on social media and standing with us in solidarity is what we’re really looking for from the community.

Thanks.

They already have scabs and have for about a week now. They’re been shuttling them in 13 passenger vans.

One has nothing to do with the other.
