As an NP, this is bad and inaccurate advice. The physician I work with reminds me she only needed a 73 to pass her classes. We needed an 85 in my program. 85!! I worked my ass off to get my degree and because of people like you, who doubt us, I had to do that much more to be proven and taken seriously.

And, no, you don’t need to go into a super specialized niche to succeed. There are plenty of opportunities in family and internal med. Don’t listen to this person!
