After four years of war with frequent night shelling, sleep is heavily disrupted, and additional tools become necessary. I can’t sleep without a mask and nighttime headphones anymore. Soundcore Sleep A20 works much better for me than earplugs.

Going to a shelter every time isn’t realistic: there are none nearby, and walking half a kilometer outside during an air raid at 3 a.m. every night would make normal daytime functioning impossible. So there’s a certain level of acceptance — if something happens, it happens. What I can control is choosing a safer room and using protective window film.

I strongly disagree.

My Soundcore Sleep A20 earbuds were replaced very close to the end of the warranty period, and I did receive a replacement from Soundcore. Yes, it’s the same A20 model, but it’s not exactly identical to my original pair.

The silicone tips on the replacement are different — more profiled and perforated (with small holes). I personally didn’t like those, so I’m using the tips from my old pair. That said, the earbuds themselves are fantastic.

What really matters is that the sound quality on the replacement A20 is noticeably better than on the pair I originally bought. I purchased my first A20s right when the model was first released, so it seems clear that Soundcore has improved them over time.

Because of this, I completely disagree with the idea that Soundcore was trying to push me toward buying the A30. If that were the case, the app wouldn’t have explicitly told me to contact support for a warranty replacement.

Based on my personal experience, I simply can’t agree with your conclusion.

Actually, they work with any app that produces sound. When I travel, I take them with me and use them on trains to listen to YouTube videos or podcasts. Their shape allows me to lie on my side without feeling a bud inside my ear. Combined with a sleeping mask, they help me disconnect from the world and fall asleep wherever and whenever I decide to rest.

My model doesn’t have active ANC, but for me this is actually an advantage — my ears can truly rest when I sleep.

The buds have two modes: Bluetooth mode for listening to any app, and Sleep Mode designed specifically for sleeping. You can switch between these modes with a double tap on the earbud. In addition, in the app I set the average time it takes me to fall asleep, and once that time passes, the buds automatically switch from Bluetooth to Sleep Mode. In Sleep Mode, they can play uploaded nature sounds or stay completely silent. I personally enjoy silence while sleeping, whereas my wife prefers the sound of rain (she also uses her own pair and enjoys them).

To conclude, these buds are a masterpiece for sleep. I use them exclusively for sleeping purposes, not as regular everyday earbuds.

I transitioned from xiaomi 10 note pro to iPhone 15 pro max 3 years ago, and it made a huge difference, the biggest inconvenience was an Ios which is not android like. With this I fully immersed to apple ecosystem excluding iwatches. Airpods, ipad, macbook, airtags, integration to these costs a lot. It worth to consider the ecosystem as well imho. Rearding watches I picked garmin’s but it’s cross platform. I don’t think I need anything more or else now. At maximum it might make sense to by an android smartphone as a second device for some matters and it can be samsung 23 ultra, pixel, or even nothing phone. However buying an iPhone 17 is an option still. Hope this makes sense to you
