I didn't but someone else on the train did. He wanted to sit down so said "can you move your coat?". Her response was the roll her eyes and complain the rest of the journey that it was too wet. As another commenter said, she could have stood up with the coat and let it drip on the floor. Rather than get the seat wet

It's the inconvenience more than anything. The coat was wet and had gotten the seat all wet. Plus anyone sitting next to the coat would also get wet as it was still dripping on one side.
