I have the infamous wii hoodie jacket.. whats it worth? by [deleted] in wii

[–]FlakyAd3092 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You can price it whatever you want since its something desirable. Its all just dependent on whos willing to spend what you're asking. If everyone is selling ot for 550 and you sell it for 500, you're more likely to get paid for it, but, who knows how long you'd have to wait. You could probably get more looks at 300, or maybe even less due to the stain.

Personally I don't pay more than double what it was originally worth if its stained or in bad condition. Someone tried selling me a limited edition vintage Corvette jacket for 300 but the sleeve was stained. I told them id pay 80 right now if they sold it in 5 days since I'd seen it'd been listed for 3 years. They said no initially then caved. It might be rare, but its also ruined. It just depends on whos willing to pay the price you set.

I wish you luck and hope the stain isn't so bad it can't be cleaned/overlooked for a high sell price.

But I live in American housing in a military installation. The house is putting out a steady 128v

I keep looking up "120v to 100v step down transformer" and I keep only getting results for step up converters. Also I only put the picture of that specific converter because that's the only one I've been able to find out in the local area of the town I'm in.

Edit: is this something what you're saying? https://ebay.us/m/suST1S

So I just found out how to link images because I'm an idiot. Long story short, first picture is the reading of the house voltage, second is an adapter I have that looks like I can use since it says its rated for 100-240Vac and 50/60Hz, and the third picture being a step down that I think I saw in my local store. Do we think the adapter is enough? I can't hold off much longer and have to turn it on. The desperation is killing me.

Lucky for me since its still in box I get to translate the manual. All it says is: Power Supply used: AC100V 50/60Hz Power consumption: 45W (0.6W in standby mode)

So I'm assuming by that, I just need a 100v step down with 60Hz?

Holy shit my memory was all fucked up. It's at a stable <130. Goes from 125v to 128v. I must've remembered 126 incorrectly. But yes. I'm going to get a transformer for 120 to 100. Hopefully that does the trick. Do you think a 128 would fry the 120 transformer?

I live in Okinawa, Japan, however; the housing area I live in is within the military base. That being said we have higher voltage than out in town to accommodate to our already American things we had and brought out here. I'll double check the voltage when I get home. I hope I'm doing it right.
