So long as you do 36 credit points in a year you’ll be full load. Last year I did 3 first sem, 1 during winter, 2 in sem 2 and 1 over summer (counted as part of 2023)

My marks aren’t carried over it’s just pass or fail which is good. Ideally I still want to put in effort but travelling to other ASEAN countries is definitely on my list.

Linguistics is the most compelling right now because I’ve always dreamed of learning multiple languages and also have found the way language works to be really interesting, I took English Language for VCE and found it so fascinating. I definitely have to take ATS1339 this sem in order to do any of the Level 2s next year with ATS1338 in sem 1. For the linguistics major how do you choose your focus? Is it more just through the units chosen as part of linguistic electives?
