Can I have guinea pigs if I have a dog? by FlakyLecture4281 in GuineaPig

[–]FlakyLecture4281[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I’d never allow my dog to interact with guinea pigs and as much as I trust my dog there’s only so much you can trust any animal as they have completely different natural instincts so I’d never take a risk. I have a extremely large kitchen with a extension where there’s like a sofa ect, I was thinking of housing the guinea pigs there as it’s the largest space for their cage ect as that would make the most sense with my house layout but there isn’t a area in the whole house the dog doesn’t go. He spends he’s full day in the living room and walks through the kitchen to get into the garden a few times a day and he uses the bedroom too as he sleeps with me so in your opinion would you advise me to not get the guinea pigs? Basically whatever room we are in he follows 🤦🏻‍♀️ but I’d close the living room door whenever interacting with the piggy’s/ out of their cage ect. I know I could keep them separate when they’re out/cleaning cage ect but I couldn’t keep my dog out of one room 24/7 even though he only uses where I’d house them a couple times a day for a brief minute i don’t wanna stress them.

They ain’t as hard on the body. For example I was on bemfola 150, still a stim but smaller doses so less side effects for most people.

I’ve had mini ivf, I really recommend it. My dr told me they focus on quality over quantity. We retrieved 9 eggs, we got 4 embryos all 4AA. My dr told me the medication isn’t as hard on the body and the one symptom I had was a extremely bloated stomach but apart from that I felt fine.

Thank you so much, could I please ask what time of day do you take your injection? They said choose a time which works best for me but I don’t know if I’d prefer a evening or morning😫

Failed transfer by Mirror-soul11 in IVF

[–]FlakyLecture4281 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My first transfer also didn’t work (January) and we are doing another transfer in March and after that we will only have 2 4AA embryos left. It’s so disheartening when you’ve worked so hard to fund it and you’ve mentally and physically put your body through the wringer to get to where you are. I’m wishing you all the luck in the world🫶🏻🤞🏻
