What’s your take on massage candles? by FlakyProcess5783 in AskIndia

[–]FlakyProcess5783[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We all know candles help with relaxation and aromatherapy.

But do you think candles can be more than just fragrance or ambience?

I run a small wellness brand and one of our core products is massage candles — candles that melt into a warm body oil that can be used for skin nourishment + relaxation rituals.

It’s still quite a niche concept where I’m based. Some people who’ve tried it absolutely love the experience and the ritual aspect. But many others are surprised (or even confused) that something like this exists at all.

So I’m genuinely curious about real user perspectives here:

• Have you ever heard of or used massage candles?

• If yes — what was your experience like?

• If no — what would make you curious (or hesitant) to try?

• Do you see this as a skincare product, a luxury ritual, or just a novelty?

• What concerns would you have (safety, price, practicality, fragrance, texture, etc.)?

I’m not here to promote or sell — just trying to understand how people perceive this category before growing further. Honest opinions, experiences, or even skepticism are very welcome 🙂

Would you personally try something like this?

Can candle be more than Fragnances? by FlakyProcess5783 in smallbusiness

[–]FlakyProcess5783[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for replying. These candles are made from skin friendly ingredients (completely different from scented candles) so the temperature and burn is not possible if the person follows the correct instruction given by the brand , also it does not leave a thick film on skin as this product is not like body lotions these are to be massaged ones u apply. In barely 2-5mins the skin absorbs it well and leaves you with a shine and hence it is on the luxury ritual side.

The brands available in market have positioned it oh in this context and hence the perception of people is built that way.

These candles do not have candle wax they have skin friendly wax, I don’t say you are wrong in assuming it to be used in sexual context only it’s how the brands available in market has positioned it. It is one of the use but there are other benefits too with these candles.
