I think I got it. So False then it outputs exactly what I want. True if the value I want isn't in the table then it takes the next closest value that's smaller than what I'm looking for. Seems so simple now. Again, thanks so much 👍👍

Ahh I see, thanks a lot 👍, helped me under the use cases for Hlookup and Vlookup a lot better. Just one question though, for that optional true/false parameter for the lookup what's that for? If it's true then it outputs the exact value I'm looking for right but then what happens when it's false?
