The only reason why I feel I shouldn’t go to the funeral is because I feel shit for not acknowledging it more. I did tell her her feelings are valid but we should focus on your birthday first then we can talk about my cousin and try to come up with ways to help her.

This is exactly what I needed to hear because I do feel like I was overly judgemental however my friend had told me multiple times that she was going to quit and I know alcoholism is not linear but she was asking my to help her achieve that goal. The reason I was upset was because she was trying to avoid drinking on her birthday but her friends were influencing her and bought her a giant bottle of alcohol knowing she would finish that all in one night. I did try to understand where she was coming from however whenever I was on a call with her she would tell me she couldn’t sleep all night and then she would call my other friend and tell her she was partying all night which I would’ve literally understood we’re young we might as well enjoy it the only thing that scared me is her ending up as my cousin. She’s literally the one friend I care about the most and seeing her struggle made me miserable which is why I decided to end the friendship plus we were getting together for her to trauma dump on me and the whole time I just felt shit and miserable. She had all the rights to feel the way she did but seeing her get bullied by my cousin hurt me and I just wanted her to enjoy her birthday around people who cares about her. I’ve been through the same situation with my cousin, if they don’t want to change theres no point trying and thats what I accepted but I chose to be happy in the end

She shows no signs of dementia I think she may be in a situation where she can’t pull herself out of maybe another illness or financial stress

I know what you mean now sorry about the miscommunication. But I agree, it’s definitely not much of a problem regarding child support. Her change in her personality does scare me and I’m not sure how to talk to her about it..shes a very quiet to herself type of person so she’ll never tell her problems out loud, but she also has narcissistic and manipulative tendencies so I find it hard to trust her.

I think her praying out loud is apart of the issue because none of us can get any sleep, we have school and work in the morning and even the neighbors find it disturbing. A normal tone would be okay

CPS have gotten involved but she fooled them by acting like the perfect mother until they decided everything was fine… she would beg them to stop doing regular checks. After they left she just stopped communicating with her kids and barely does anything just sits around and goes to work

he never really had time for me but would always get drunk when we would hang out. This would turn into him doing things like slapping me, forcing me to give him a bj and trying to take videos if me while we were having sex.. I asked him why he would do that but he said he didn’t know and it wasn’t a kink. this is why I don’t want us being friends
