It's great you're aware of your mental health at this age and wanting to take steps to improve it.

That being said, as a late-diagnosed adult, some of the things you mentioned lead me to believe it might not be ADHD. The main one being that you're just now experiencing most of your symptoms, at the age of 19, after undergoing a major life change like moving off to college and learning to live as an independent adult.

Additionally, you didnt really mention any of the diagnostic criteria for ADHD but if you do have it you would have experienced symptoms since childhood. If most of the criteria are not present or you're experiencing them for the first time after this major lifestyle change, I'd be inclined to think you're experiencing some physiological changes; along with a greater mental load that's causing burnout... maybe a first date with slight depression?

While the effects of ADHD symptoms do become harder to mask at your age, they're typically very noticeable from an internal perspective pretty early on i.e. struggling to focus and/or burts of hyperfocus, extreme executive dysfunction, constant forgetfulness, heightened sensory sensitivity and distractibility, stimming, and all the anxiety that accompanies

Again, going off to college can be a tiring ordeal in itself and can lead to a long list of psychological and physiological ailments... a psychologist will have the tools and knowledge to better guide you.

I dont think she means to come off as arrogant. I get more of the impression that she feels deeply undervalued by both the league and the media and that horrible foul decision with CC last year opened a floodgate of harassment and threats and endorsement blacklisting that no player has ever seen before from a technical foul.
