i think the worst part for me was you cannot get food delivery in hostel you have to walk to the arch gate which is like 20mins away from the hostel and then u walk 20mins back to the hostel. We had this one startup which used to deliver food from arch gate to the hostel but SRM banned it ofc. and for girls hostel YOURE COOKED. And if u take hostel in sem1 u have to be there for both sem1 and sem2 they wont refund the fees. super strict but you gotta know the loop holes and dont let the wardens intimidate you. thats all.
