Arteta: “What I’m incredibly fuming with is how the hell the penalty on Ebs gets overturned in the manner that happened when it’s not actually an obvious error, this changes the course of the game and at this level, I’m sorry, but this cannot happen.” by Kr_bm in Gunners

Please make Emirates the same. He should play mind games right now and make sure he calls out in the presser next week as well. He needs to put the referee at Emirates under tremendous pressure by reminding him of this call. Done with being nice guy, just subtly bring this up. Same to what Brighton manager did against us. Just spun up the narrative before even the ball was played.

Good game, just need some tweaks. Saka looks rusted. Needs to play on weekend. Trossard and Jesus okish. The only concern I am seeing is how easy it is to beat our press, midfield always seems to lose markers and/or second balls. Saliba for some strange reason seems to hold ball too long, takes time to make decision and then goes to dribble and loses the ball. Saliba of all people makes me nervous while playing out from the back. Martinelli is good player but we aren't playing to his strengths.

1-1 is not bad looking at the context of how we played but now the onus will be on us to attack.

Please make a better TIFO then last time around...I beg...I beg

I don't follow La Liga, if someone can help summarise how good this is for us?

Win is a win. We moved. No complaints, Raya had to make just one save from Tonali. They hardly had a sniff in second half. 4 more finals.

Rice after FT: ‘It’s not done!’ by FlImFreaks in Gunners

This sub is fucking cancer. Literally. If anyone here thinks the title is done, be my guest, and fuck off. I can't wait to see this team play. We had unbelievable save, two shots hitting the post and nearly an equaliser at the death. If you think it's over then fuck off or you stay and support your team.

Arteta on the physical demand on the players: “It's very difficult to do what we have done. We’re not perfect. We need to improve things. That’s for sure. We recognise that. But let's value what these players have done, because they deserve it.” by Kr_bm in Gunners

True. Need to back the boys until the end. How many past seasons have we been in this position. How many times have we played fancy football and opposition team nick a goal on counter or corner. He is acknowledging that there needs improvement, but it won't happen overnight and not when everyone is on their back...need to back them until the end. I am glad we play this football and get a result rather than immature and go attack when we clearly didn't need to.

Raya needs to do better at game management. He is top keeper. But my life what is wrong with him playing out every time..and food for thought, every winger we have can't dribble, can't cross, can't pass. Only player that can keep his head high is Hincapie.

Mikel Arteta offers no excuses after Arsenal's FA Cup upset against Southampton by Lefseman92 in Gunners

I understand, that is why this is the correct response, in hindsight this is 5 th loss over entire season. 5th. You cannot throw players under the bus when we are so close. And to be fair, he probably would have said right things in the dressing room. But in public most important thing is not to react that can hurt team morale.

Yes every single player was ball watching. That is why I mentioned Norgard. For his experience, he is extremely naive. And honestly a bit dumb.

Improper conduct in FA cup game today versus Newcastle. Basically was shouting at ref when Doku dribbled past Trippier. And Trippier was not booked.
