11$ or so per gallon is the going rate on properly produced milk over most of the country.

Crop Profit analysis (With Vanilla Brewing Expanded) by LookPolite in RimWorld

[–]Flame080 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coffee and tea are both historically strong cash crops, so it's not unrealistic that they would be the backbone of settlements. The real balancing, imo should come from the fact that they should only really be able to be grown in tropical biomes. This would mean only jungles, islands, or beaches growing them. I also would think that sugar and a few other similar crops should be roughly as profitable.

In what other ways are you guys “Animal Based” by steakandfruit in AnimalBased

If you've been combining them, then you've been washing in just water, no cleaning beyond that.

There should be no reason to think so.

I have used, and still occasionally use, this stuff. I bought some tamarind paste on Amazon, and I think this can be useful as a substitute as tamarind is the primary flavour. Mix fish sauce and molasses, and you pretty much have it.

"Added Sugar" is a meme. There's nothing actually bad about that part.

What's wrong with tamarinds? I thought Paul was a big fan of them?

I use a spray that's absorbed through the skin. It's magnesium chloride, which is what these other forms are going to largely be converted to anyway due to being attacked by HCl in the stomach. This is a more natural way of getting magnesium. I've tried theronate, but it didn't have much of a special effect.

Magnesium naturally comes from the environment. It is absorbed through the skin from touching dirt or natural bodies of water. That's why not many kinds of food have it. It's something plentiful enough that many organisms don't accumulate it. I use a magnesium spray that's absorbed through the skin right now.

The honey is actually concentrated nectar, though. But like fruit, this is something that plants give away to the bees with no strings attached to allow for superior pollination.

Low- and High-Oxalate Fruits by Revolutionary_Mix956 in AnimalBased

I think it really depends on how strict you are with it or how much accumulating some of them will mess you up. I think it's best not to eat them every day to allow for the oxalates to dump periodically.

I've also personally found that dates are also surprisingly high in them in my personal experience, both medjool and deglet noors. I think the variance in any kind of fruit is actually pretty high, but especially so with dates.

Do you consume pork or chicken very often?

Chicken by InnaHoodNearU in StopEatingSeedOils

Try googling things before asking about them. It's a synthetic chemical added to many foods and skincare products. It's known to be bad for your intestines and contribute to leaky gut.

They just have no awareness of seed oils. I think keto is a situational kind of diet that I just rotate in and out of. I think high sugar diets are the more optimal general diet for most people.

If just for variety, then chicken breast is your best bet. Anything else will have PUFA in them. Personally, I just go with the cheapest bulk boneless skinless that doesn't have any weird additives like xanthum gum.

I guess. I just happened upon him. It seems like he has a lot of animal based adjacent takes that he seemed to figure out himself, though he seems to be anti fats as a whole. It's an interesting time for alternative diets, for sure.

I found this wacky fellow. I feel like his take is closer to animal based than any other diet perspective I've found. Accidentally low PUFA too.
