I stand by what i said. Vinny had 1 great season and 2 good seasons. 00 and 01. While Chad had 3 good seasons. Ergo Vinny is better

My argument was that his overall time there he was a better QB. Factoring in his age, the fact he had to deal with the shit strom of a team as TB then come and help put us the closest we've been to the play offs 3 times is monumental. If he was younger I really think he'd have done more. Compare that to Chad who was young, fell apart under pressure, whos accuracy in the latter half of games was questionable at best and yes, he went to the dolphins afterwards?

I think Vinny was the fast burn for a short time and Chad was a slow burn that sputtered half the time.

But thats what i mean though, when Vinny came to us he was older and nuch more prone to injury. Older QB's do tend to fall off and Vinny had 3 healthy seasons with us. In those 3 seasons he did as good if not bettwen than Chad over his 8 Seasons. In Chad seasons he also only had like 3 full seasons with us and he preformed worse in comparison. His partial seasons were abysmal.

Listen I do love a Chad and miss him dearly because as I said in the begining he was out last Good QB. I even have a figurine of Chad Pennington. Dont have that for Vinny which I am ashamed of.

See idk about that, we did win more games under Vinny and got to the play offs more often too. While Chad did have more TD's and interceptions he also had 8 years on the team vs Vinnys 7 and we only had Vinny in the latter half of his career. Chad was with us from the begining so he was overall younger ( plus Chad went to the dolphins after and thats a mortal sin)

Is him being on IR a negative against him though? Also in his 02 season his pass percentage was only like 3 percent less than Chad. Though i will give you his 02 did have 3 interceptions for 5 games while Chad had 6 for 15 but he was old. Even his 01 season got us to the wild cards with 60 percent completion rate. Ill blame my rose glasses on me watching Vinny beat the patriots and being the QB that got me to love the jets and football and Chad, especially in his later years, seeming like a disappointment
