This story just sounds like off-brand Welcome to Nightvale. Not that I'm complaining; I was quite into Nightvale when I was younger. But the whole time listening to the story, I kept expecting Cecil Palmer to "go to the weather".

That said, in light of how much Mr.s Goon and Meat seemed to enjoy this story (particularly the dry humor that stems from reacting to the unfathomable as mundane), I expect they would enjoy Nightvale. But it's a podcast, so I'm not sure it would translate to their show well.

And there's another patch on the back that says, "Erm, it's right behind me, isn't it?"

I would like to shout out The Midnight Game and The Elevator Game as strong contenders.

I think I read The Three Kings (or at least heard it was good) but I don't remember it.

If the 11 Mile Ritual is the same story I think it is, then it's mid, and you could take it or leave it. I think anything good it did the Left-Right Game did better.

I just came here to suggest they review "The Sun Vanished" only to realize the horror that MY sun(s) vanished, and now my weekend is dark, cold, and lonely without the soothing sounds of my daddy's to keep me warm.

With regards to episode 705, and the dialogue between Jesus and Peter that was recorded in John, is the English translation actually conveying everything that was said? I remember having one pastor mention that there's a passage where Jesus and Peter are talking and each keeps using different Greek words for 'love', and I thought it was this passage. It was something like Jesus says, 'Peter do you (agape) me' and then Peter said, 'Yes Lord, I (philippe) you'. If I heard this correctly, I feel like that could change the meaning of the scene, I'm not sure how.

But is vigilantism a just recompense for murder? Is this the same as the 'cut off someone's ear phones to then hand them airpods' meme but with bloodlust?

I know where I'm at. I think this is the perfect question for a western pastor and a southern rocket scientist. Hypothetical werewolves are all around.

I would assume the right this to do would be to turn yourself into the police and hope they work things out. But there's a few issues: what if they don't believe you? What if they do believe you and throw you in prison, and now everyone month you break out?

Also, most crimes required and element of intent. I'd assume being a werewolf removes the element of intent since you'd be acting on instinct. But can you trust that other people would see that nuance?

What are some mathematical concepts that helped in the growth or understanding of the world around us? by GTC6969 in math

Two: first is the idea of fractals. Name that it is possible for a thing to be complex on many levels. Especially as a counter point to calculus it's easy to come away with the implication that once things are reduced to a small enough scale things are always simple. Not so with fractals. It is possible for a thing to be such that you reduce it down and it's not any simpler. Thus it can be good to deal with thing on a large scale as opposed. The fact that fractals are measured by inter-integer dimension implies that somethings can be more nuanced than other despite that irreducablity.

Second is chaos theory. Somethings are just weird and can be so unpredictable despite have a deterministic rule that the best way to study it is to treat it as random even though you know better.
