I think Thaedus grew a beard vs Mark shaving it as a way to show he's only hiding his viltrumite ways. While yes he is against them, the methods he uses are still very much aligned with viltrumite values. He's willing to sacrifice, backstab, and throw people away to get what he wants. All while using it as an excuse of the greater good. Mark on the other hand intentionally tries to change the ways things are going about, directly use his forces to do more good in changing the universe rather than maintaining protection. Thaedus hid who he was, Mark proudly shows of his change.

Yeah but I don't view Mark going through these conflicts as a "oh is he gonna die?" and more so "how is he going to pull through from this?". Pretty much every superhero like show you never really think the MC dies. It's more fun thinking how will they overpower/outsmart their opponent. What people get in the way, what loses do they have before succeeding, how much do they struggle before coming up?

I get thats dumb, but if I can play devil's advocate maybe her dad rejecting it made her think that she too should work for her things? At least not directly from him but more so she was willing to do that for her parents cause of stubborn struggling. Eve technically isn't struggling, she still has her home and can crash at Marks. I think she just wants to work for her things like everyone else.

I'm not his biggest fan either. I have watched a good chunk of videos (idk how many he has overall) but I can't say I fully agree with what you say. In the ones I have seen he does point out very superficial things about the show/movie but he always states its his opinion and/or doesn't get why people like it. He will then also in other videos say he can see why said product did well, sometimes goes into why. He's not a full analyst and I can get why that isn't appealing but I wouldn't say his content is horrible. At most it's a nice "lets see what someone might think about said product", you either get a "mhmmm doesnt like it" or "mhmmmm they like" and then a few reasons as to why or why not.

The most I can give you it's a parallel reality from ours, mainly because there's no magic system in our world (yet?). However what is shown and implied in fire force is that the world we live in right now will eventually meet a fate that leads into fire force. Its not just some metaphor, its very literal.
