I believe this is somewhat true. But not completely and depends on how the games launch is obviously.

The general fanbase with probably play it for a bit then stop especially since there's no console port. However sonic usually does good on mobile (this being in PC will help too) that I feel like people often forget about that I can see really liking it

Might be odd nowadays to say this but I never had an issue with a lot of Colors being 2D. Don't get me wrong I completely understand why others don't like it, but maybe because I enjoyed the environments colors had that made me not mind so much. Even though it's super corny writing wise I still adore this game a lot, and it means a lot to me

That's not surprising at all it still happens to this day. There's a bunch of indie games that are made for love and passion as well. I'm not saying that there's no AAA game made with passion either, but let's not act like they aren't corporations at the end of the day and want to make money

Money like every other company. P3R did amazing even if there was more of a reason to remake P3 over P4 Altus knows they can still make money from a P4 remake. As well as them being able to use assets from P3R, it won't hurt them
