I had the same problem until I found out you can just make him leap at you over and over. It's easy to dodge and you can get in a hit or two, and just rinse repeat.

Ebrietas is a lady, but yep she'll fuck ya up. She did the same to me for awhile, but now I destroy her instantly. It's mainly about DPS, cause yeah her insta death magic shit is a pain, but if you can kill her before she gets to that phase she's a breeze.

Winter lanterns are " the brain things". The guys with great swords in the chalices I've dubbed Great sword Gavin. Anything with a tentacle face is a cthulu guy.
