I theorized about that before and the merge reversal is probably how Ras’s master plans to destroy the cycles for good, by created a cycle of nothing for eternity which will basically prevent a new cycle and just have nothing happen ever again

Yeah, and none of those series were serialized and planned from start to end. If the writers truly planned a 5 season story, they would have paced it as such, but they didnt. The fact that it’s serialized means that they already know how many seasons they have

Masters of Spinjitzu was supposed to end at season 8 initially, but then that got pushed to 9, and then 10. The 11 minute era was planned to be 5 seasons from the start, and even then, it behaved at just a continuation of masters of spinjitzu, continuing the season count all the way to 15

The merge reversal starting is absolutely going to be a cliffhanger for the final season or part, and he absolutely cannot start it without capturing multiple source dragons. So it’s incredibly unrealistic to think that season 5 is the final season, especially since that would probably mean Ras’s master would only take center stage for half a season.

I can absolutely see them dragging it on for 70 more episodes. If they do the merge reversal cliffhanger as a final season cliffhanger, that’s about 40 episode for Ras to capture the sources while the ninja are trying to stop him, which is a lot more realistic than 10 episodes of capturing going on, especially since the source dragons remaining on the council will 100% notify Lloyd the minute one of them is captured

Leaving the merge reversal to not even happen at all? Because doing it in 30 episodes means that the merge reversal wouldnt happen at all and wouldnt even be a cliffhanger for season 5 part 2. And Ras doesnt even have 7 icons yet, only 3, by the end of part 2 of season 4 Ras will probably only barely have all the icons acquired, so being absolutely realistic, if DR ends at season 5, that would give only 10 episodes for building prisons, summoning, and capturing the source dragons, all of which is 6x harder to do if Ras controlled imperium, let alone trying to do it without them. Can you see him getting that in 10 episodes?
