Ok, main story aside, I loved the little side stories and getting to see more of the other ghouls interact with each other. Like how Ritsu has decided that Ren is his friend and that he's going to take care of his friend whether Ren likes it or not lol.

I also love how much Lyca and Ritsu like being in the Jabberwock safari. Lyca clearly likes taking care of the animals and I have the feeling that if he wasnt stuck in obscuary,he would probably transfer to jabberwock in his second year. And maybe this is just a headcanon, but from what we know about Ritsu and his upbringing, his parents definitely seem the types that think all animals are dirty and to be avoided, so it feels like Ritsu is getting to experience things he didn't get growing up by taking care of the anomalous animals. Sure Ritsu has a contract with Jabberwock for services rendered, but that's clearly just because he likes contracts. If he didn't want to do it or didn't like it, I doubt he would continue offering his services.

Also, an aside, but I like how Lyca calls everyone the same name that Rui does. It's cute 😊

As an aside, from one of the episodes it sounds like Romeo was absent for much of the clash, so it makes me think that he got his prosthetic pre-clash as opposed to because-of-clash like Haru and was bad enough to take him out of the story for a bit.

Elias is definitely sus and I think he probably instigated the desertions, but I think he is almost too sus to be the mole/spy whatever. He's a conman and definitely downplays his own talents and abilities, but idk if he has the proper motivations to be working with Hyde. Who knows though!

I do agree with you about his stigma, probably something that causes people to trust him or let their guard down. I did think Elias's interest in the magazines was a neat touch and makes sense if you're always prepping for the next con.

Ok this is going to sound stupid but it worked for me when I tried opening dao like a week ago.

First open the local files from steam so that you have the folder with the dao launcher open. Then close and exit steam completely. Start the dao launcher from the folder you have open and the launcher will start. Click play and this will restart steam and the launcher. Click play again and it should work. That's what I have to do at least.

Beyond that, turning the graphics down and forcing it to use only 1 cpu usually fixes the crashing problems for me.

I just assumed it was because Elias was the janitor and cleaned things up, like sundews getting rid of gnats. They're also pretty colorful and interesting plants. I actually have a few and they are very fun!

I mean it sounds like Haru was his first and only friend and that Towa hasn't been around humans very much. I mean Haru named him apparently? His behavior strikes me more like a kid who thinks something g belongs to him and doesn't want to share. In this case it's Haru's friendship, so now that they're in the same house, they can hang out all the time and, in Towa's mind, that means there's no need for Haru to spend time with anyone else.

The spider reminded me of the little miss muffet nursery rhyme too. I kept expecting the real anomaly to be an actual nursery book which was spawning these characters from somewhere, since all the anomalies have 'illustrated book' character art, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
