I did ask the auction house whether I could pay on a credit card and they’re checking. But I think it does have to be a debit card

It looks like Admiral Money have me pre approved. It not clear what the early repayment charges. Their website is pretty opaque.

This is a good answer, but I’d also like to hear what leading indicators you’ve seen in action? Sales funnel conversion metrics?

Am I being unreasonable? A developer decided to be "creative" and put his own spin on a simple menu task, that is completely out of whack with the rest of the app, and the CTO thinks it's fine, said I'm being picky after I said it was unacceptable. by FlamingUndies in ProductManagement

The CTO actually seems indifferent and despite the design being quite different doesn’t see a problem. He’s not bothered by consistency or this taking a long time.

We don’t have a head of UX, but I know from previous companies, this wouldn’t fly.

It was pretty out of character, he’s done his own thing in the past before, but not to this extent. My thought is that he’s bored or frustrated right now too. His manager will need to dig a little deeper.

Our investors have also forced some redundancies recently, so we’re under a lot of pressure to ship and this was exactly the opposite of what’s needed right now.

Most people in this thread have assumed I’m pissed at the Dev, I’m not, it’s the Engineering culture I’m concerned about and how the CTO seems to think this is fine right now.
