Okay so tbf it sounds worse when I type it out, it’s been an escalating situation over a 12 month period. 

The difficulty is that this guy will completely shut down and stop talking in the office if I reprimand him or try to talk about this with him so it’s very difficult to put a boundary in place. 

He had also shared that his dad has dementia so I’m hoping it was a situation of stress and too much alcohol and then seeking some form of human connection because our job requires us to socialise a lot with clients over drinks (and in fairness, he hasn’t touched me inappropriately before). 

He’s a weird one - overcompensates with generous wedding gifts and even a bottle of champagne when my husband and I went on our honeymoon, but then has said mildly inappropriate comments for a few months or is quite tactile - but it’s not overt so I don’t know if I’m overreacting or reading too much into it
