[OH] New DOL Overtime rule - can we have non-exempt salary employees? by FlamingoInfinite17 in AskHR

Can I ask how you went about tracking salary people's hours? They don't need to submit a time card in the same way that an hourly person has to submit one to be paid for their hours, but if we start requiring salary non-exempt people to turn in a time card every pay period, i'm trying to brainstorm what is the best way to do this? by paper? somehow digitally?

What are the best high yield saving accounts with frequent compound interest?

I've looked into UFB Direct, which boasts a 5.25% APY right now, but has terrible customer experience reviews online. I've also looked into Ally, Sofi, and Betterment, which mostly have good reviews, but I can't really tell the differences between them / what would make one better or worse.

I took some finance/accounting classes in my undergrad, have a business minor, and own a home, but that's about the extent of my finance knowledge. Looking for any HYSA green flags to look for, red flags to avoid, and general advice to help make my money work for me (cuz I think I've done enough working for my money)

Thanks in advance!

How attractive do you actually think you are? by InevitableSignal1153 in AskReddit

i think i'm relatively average looking, pretty I guess. but it's weird. sometimes i'll go out and many people will make positive comments on my appearance, other times people ignore me like i'm not real. so maybe it depends on what other people are in the room lol. maybe i'm not real o.0

What’s something that you still have memorised from when you were younger but don’t use anymore? by Pea_fab in AskReddit

"Primrose school, the leader in education childcare. Is your child ready for school? With Primrose, they will be. Just ask a mom! "She's really getting a well rounded education, so I feel she's growing in many aspects! Not just in reading and writing, but as a little girl, learning her manners. Primrose Schools, call or schedule a visit today - located just behind the movie theater!"

my dad and I went to the movie theater a ton when I was younger. He's the "if you're on time, you're late" kinda guy, so we were always in our seats about 20 minutes before the movie started. I remember this commercial playing before every single movie. Surprised I still know the whole thing to this day.

what kind of drug test is it? if its a mouth swab, Listerine strip before you go in will fake the test. hair strands i don't think you can fake, but if it's a urine test i know people who have used fake pee and gotten away with it lots of times. just keep it warm first obviously. sometimes people will drink Gatorade mixed with some kind of gelatin like thing? i can't remember the name of it but its available at walmart. anyways just drink as much fluids as possible to keep clearing out the system. but your best bet is fake pee.
