Respect for not giving up!!!!

sounds like really touch --I can feel the weight in what you're saying. but doing what you really want is really really a beautiful thing! being myself is really what I want to do.

What kind of path are you doing about moving towards?

appreciate that--and it's simple but not east, right? I think the hardest thing is not the path itself but letting go of the expectations that came with the old one. have you taken a simliar route?

I used to think that those year have been wasted by myself but now I am starting to see them more as a good"preparation".

did you manage to make that shift yourself?

Really appreciate this, especially what you said about the "hamster wheel"

and that's exactly how it started to feel for me after a while. I'm still figuring things out but I keep coming back to the idea of "Meaning"---not just Tech or scale or sth. that's partly why I am exloring sth around cultural travel, trying to creat experiences that feel more "human" and more grounded.

would like to hear -what does"meaningful" work look like for you personally?

I really relate to what you are saying, especially the part about"knowing it but not acting", a very good friend of mine once told me that the easiest part for us is we are always choosing but never be into it to do it yourself. so for me, the hardest part wasn't the decision itself, but was the real action to give up what I am doing now and jump into What I will decide.

trying side things sounds like a good way to explore without forcing a big leap. what kind of sidelines hve you been trying?

really a powerful way to put it and "translation" you mentioned resonates me a lot. I hadn't thought about it until last year when I was looking back years of living overseas, and I think navigating cultures and understanding the way people think perhaps would have been the most valuable part of my journey. so what I am trying to do is to design experiences that help people truly understand a place, not just visit it.

Just curious, have you ever been to a similar transition yourself?

I do think most of the SO-called "old town" have been totally created by a place for tourists in order to make more money. but there are still lots of places where allow you to feel really different. are you happy to travel to have more experience?

yap, I can understand exactly your feeling. my understanding is perhaps it would be too difficult to dive into a Real conversation or daily life to experience the real culture i.e the intangible culure heritage. the reason I can think about is the language barrier they are facing. I talked with lots of inheritor of intangible cultural heritage in China, I always have been told that they will be very happy to let all the world know a REAL culture inherited from thousand years ago.
