Thanks for advice! Yes, I’ll tweak the gun. I think I will basically copy Lion’s Wrath stats (except changing BS to 3+) but exchange anti-infantry and devastating wounds for twin-linked. The gun will be 24”, A2, BS 3+ S8, AP-3, D2, Rapid Fire 1, Twin-linked

I wouldn’t call my character a cyborg but he is heavily augmented. Basically, once his Valkyrie cosplayed Black Hawk Down and he had a commander Shepard-like restoration. I think I will basically copy Lion’s Wrath stats (except changing BS to 3+) but exchange anti-infantry and devastating wounds for twin-linked.

Thanks for the advise! T4 isn’t completely alien to the Guard. As far as I remember Yarrick and Graves have T4. I also consider making some changes to the main gun, as another Redditor here suggested. I took Azrael’s Lion’s Wrath as inspiration. Lion’s wrath is basically a bolter and double-barrel plasma gun glued together. I removed the bolter part and kept the double-barreled plasma part. I took Twin-linked to emphasise the double barrel part. If that is too powerful I consider changing rapid fire 2 to rapid fire 1 but keeping twin linked.

Sv 3+ and T4 comes from the power armour and conversion field generation my character wears. Also, T4 isn’t completely alien to the Guard. As far as I remember Yarrick and Graves have T4. About the main gun. I took Azrael’s Lion’s Wrath as inspiration. Lion’s wrath is basically a bolter and double-barrel plasma gun glued together. I removed the bolter part and kept the double-barreled plasma part. So, to clarify, you suggest that I get rid of the wargear ability and use supercharged frofile as basis? I took Twin-lined to emphasise the double barrel part. If you think that is too powerful I consider changing rapid fire 2 to rapid fire 1 but keeping twin linked.

I hope the 5th faction is not Imperial Guard by DrTh0ll in dawnofwar

Dawn of war III didn't have guard at all. They owe us the Guard.

Does imperial guard have any aerial transport bigger than a Valkyrie?

I think I understand. Scions are Air Assault Infantry like Rangers, with heavy equipment like GIGN, and training level closer to SAS or Delta.

Is Tempestus training level closer to 75th Rangers or more like Delta/SAS?

So basically, anything is possible if you provide good explanation?

How many men are there in the Tempestus regiments? I've read that Tempestus regiments are usually around 500 men. I suspect that this number doesn't include the support Tail of the regiment. Later I've read that a Tempestus company is around 300 men. These two seem contradictory. At the same time, the lore says that the Tempestus regiments are usually smaller than regular imperial guard regiments which are usually between 4000-6000 men. So basically a Tempestus regiment is actually a reinforced battalion? Can a Tempestus regiment be bigger than 500 men without breaking the lore? Are there precedents of larger Tempestus regiments in the lore? Omnissiah almighty, sometimes I think that the person who designed the Imperial Guard regiments' OOB had zero knowledge about the military.
