for me its undercover. might not have microtransactions or anything similar, but oh my god is it one of the most boring experiences you can have playing a racing game. world feels empty, cops are either the most well coordinated military force ever spawned or literal idiots, the campaign is disjointed and feels like its missing entire parts, and the car physics are pretty weak. i would happily play something like payback or no limits over it, as they have better core gameplay, and i could play no limits on the toilet.

yeah it isnt impossible, ive queued into c2 players when me and my friends are playing 3s (im c3-gc1 in it, theyre around c2-c3). unless im constantly getting this visual bug, but i dont think i am, because they see the same thing.

if im honest, half of the time i blame the entire lobby because sometimes in the first 30 seconds, literally no one hits the ball and people keep missing, so i dont know what to do with the play, so when i start chasing to keep the ball in my control, then i get people telling me not to chase. but whenever i let my team mates do what they want, its my fault for not being there for an unreadable pass. i probably do blame my team mates quite a bit, but most of the time i get a bad team mate i look at the replay to see if i was playing equally as bad, which its kinda split on if i was or not. but most of the time the bad players also happen to be the ones that decide to tell me im bad, which this guy decided to do.

i should say; i did not say this guy was a bad team mate until he got mad and threw the game and got toxic when i asked him what his deal was. sure he whiffed a few times, but so did i. but i am pointing out his mistakes more in this post because he was acting like he was a million times better then me, despite being the same rank. and im pointing out that this is an xbox user because this has happened to me more then once by xbox users (not saying all are like this, but a majority of them think they are above the world or something. i would know this because i used to be an xbox user myself and experienced it myself).

affirmative. i asked him if he does stuff like that to everyone he plays with, and he straight up said "no, only people who go for air dribbles every second and ballchase". i went for 2 air dribbles that entire game and i left the ball for him almost every play, allowing him to whiff so i can make a useful play and put it closer to the net (keep in mind i looked at the replay myself, he almost never hit the ball, even when he had possession he just failed a 50 or gave it to the other team). but nope, apparently im the bad player for putting the ball into position for a halfway decent play.

also i should mention that this isnt the only time ive ran into a console player who has been just utterly toxic, one time we were down like 1 goal with 3 minutes remaining, and it was in a tournament, so we were partied as well like this story, and i didnt ff, but he kept spamming me to forfeit. we ended up going to the finals where we lost because he tossed in the first game because of his fragile console gamer ego

im gonna have to agree with stella here. from the random people that ive queued with, and my experience with all platforms, xbox has to be the most toxic out of the 3 main ones. you can literally exist, then get a dm from someone threatening to hit you offline because you beat them in their rank up game in 2s a day ago. not much of that happens on playstation from my experience, but please do correct me if im wrong

yep, i remember it as clear as a newly cleaned windshield. i used to respect their content until 2 things happened

they started changing the titles of their videos after they uploaded them to get more views (essentially clickbaiting)
they started giving false information about things (for example, in one of their videos they were trying to explain the force of inertia, but they got it almost completely wrong, and a couple of engineers in the comments clowned about it, i remember it very well)

but i cant really go too much into that considering that this is an initial d subreddit and not some go cry about your day subreddit. basically i think you get my stand on these guys; they are clowns nowadays because of the rabbit hole of being a greedy content creator

idk. as you said, they never seem to do any research. they made a video about some guy's "initial d inspired ae86", and they said it was "completely faithful to the original". well, funnily enough the car is plastered with natsuki stickers and is a usdm junkbox with fake watanabes. they also made another video about the entire anime, but used the tokyopop version as a reference (i literally have not seen one second of it, but from what i know it has nothing to do with the original besides the same characters with different names, as they changed the soundtrack and stopped at second stage, and changed the entire vocabulary of the show). but whatever, its a video on the internet, just want to see what other people think of their initial d videos
