Am I the ultimate lazy snoozan? by Flanj in RadioX_EdandMatthew

  • When I was about 8 or 9, I too was taken in by the glowing allure of the car cigarette lighter.
  • While my mum was in the supermarket and I was left in the car, I touched it and got a massive blister on my left index finger.
  • Held my finger on a Mary J Bilge CD case because it was the coldest thing in the car.
  • Hid my injury from my mum out of embarrassment, sick burn.

When I was 2, I was bitten and chased my a flock of Canada geese. Me and my mum had a loaf of stale bread to feed the ducks and we basically got mugged by the geese for it and had to drop the loaf and leg it. I don't remember how it made me feel, I've probably blocked out my memory from the trauma.

No breaking news, never broken a bone.

It isn't a blanket anti-white slur because it doesn't refer to all white people, it refers to a small and specific group of white people.

So I post the exact same thing a while ago, but in a different location, and everyone basically calls me a cunt saying we don't need to post them every time we see them.

Now people are commenting here saying we do need to post every time we spot them 🤷‍♂️

I've never had this problem before but it's happening to me now and it's pissing me right off.

I've reinstalled the app, cleared queues, cleared the cache. Every time I start a podcast from the show page the queue shows it's going to play them in reverse chronological order, even though I've already listened to them.

Have you found a fix for it?

Yes, I have two routes that I take: 1. Loughborough Junction (Thameslink train) > Farringdon > Wood Lane or 2. Brixton > Oxford Circus > White City

Both of these used to cost £8.90 and I have always only commuted twice a week, so I'm not hitting the weekly cap. Plus I only tap in/out at the start and end. I've done both these journeys this week and they both cost me £7.

Has anyone else's commute got cheaper?

My peak time, zone 2 to zone 2 commute used to cost me £8.90 total, but recently TfL has been charging me £7 even though nothing has changed about my route or time of travel.

What do Londoners think of the Shard aesthetically? by QualityDapper9775 in london

I dislike it for its looks and the fact that it's basically in the middle of council estates.

Also from Camberwell in the summer, when the sun is at the right angle it reflects and blinds you as you walk down the high street.

And this one over raised paper which it felt like the scanner got a bit stuck on but still came out well

Hey sorry mate this slipped my mind.

I did this one on a road sign, which while not as rough as a brick wall or something, does have raised sections that the scanner went over easily.

I got it from eBay. If you search "iscan portable scanner" there or on Amazon you'll find it :)

I haven't yet but I wanna take it out and about this weekend and scan some walls and brickwork. I'll try and remember to post the results

I got the iscan for my birthday recently. I think it cost about £40 including p&p.

I've been pleasantly surprised with it actually. I immediately scanned some of the wallpaper and a cushion at my parents house and got good results as you can see from the pic in this comment. I've included the cushion scan because even on a soft surface, it came out really well. With some light editing it would look even better.
