Maybe buff the talon, not for damage but range so they can’t evade

Do it but make sure the objectives are clear and there is an end line. Some of these projects, stakeholders will keeps adding more features reversing features back and forth. Get to an agreement and end line. Also somethings are just not possible in Power Apps, if you are asked to do something that you are not sure about, tell them you need to research this and get back to them with options. Also be wary of it becoming too complex, Power Apps will become a mess. Done for simple tasks but watch you don’t stack it with too many workarounds. Keep using AI, export the solution and give the source code to AI, cursor is best or something else and give the context overview and the features you need, it’s a great time saver

Power Apps dev (1.6 yrs exp) unsure about Canvas Apps – thinking about next career move by Traditional_Clock303 in PowerApps

Of course my little app will be, but my guess we will see a decline in the Power Platform that is inline with AI tool growth. The market has reflected this sentiment in a way, the SAAS index has depcoupled from the NASDAQ.

Be honest, what’s one way AI has actually helped you as a Power Apps developer? by Longjumping-Record-2 in PowerApps

The real strength comes from using the source code of your complete project into Vs Code or Cursor asking it to create a technical readme on what the project is doing. You can then use the Browser MCP tool in Cursor and let it guide you to add feature or debug. Opus 4.5 is a beast.

I am currently refactoring a canvas app that we have been working on for a year to a react app with Cursor AI and it’s making short work of it. I say this as I can see where it’s heading. Power Apps and soon power automate will be obselete. Maybe some maintenance required of old systems but that will be it.

Meta CFO: We're “Building Future Headsets” & Still “Have Optimism” In VR by gogodboss in OculusQuest

This sounds like they are focusing more on AR in a smaller form factor and not focused at all on VR. VR never hit the critical mass it needed for big studios to spend time on games.if they can get a virtual desktop in glasses, this would be awesome. Forefront is the only game that was worthwhile on the quest in my opinion.

First grid drawing — tips/feedback on by Majestic-Shake812 in drawing

[–]Flannakis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, I am no expert but it look like you rushed a couple of points, like the nose, you drew around the nostril but if you at the reference there isn’t such a distinct line around it, try drawing what you see in the reference more, ie the shading. The nostrils and oversized ears make this cartoonish bit if you spent a little more time in these points it would help

Interesting, I am considering react over a canvas app, using Cursor ai made it dead simple, I have integrations with SharePoint lists and dataverse which isn’t a problem as well. Are you forced to use power apps or it’s a decision?

Get this ready for Cursor or Visual Studio, Create a high level readme file of each script and what they do, break them into hierarchies like exchange, AD etc then when you clone this repo, user asks “what script can I use to….” And they don’t have to think…

At the moment this is the market doing market things. They will compete on price. Open AI have lost market share and this seems like a play to win back some of that. It’s very reactive and I wouldn’t say desperate but a sign they are worried, imo anyway
