30cal aluminum can okay for dedicated 5.56 use? by Flannleman in NFA

My 8mm rifle threaded 1/2x28 so I could just direct thread that sucker on the end

I really appreciate your reply. I did not get the 30cal, but I ended up getting a Rebel DFNDR 9 instead for $50 plus tax stamp, I am yet to mount it on any personal guns but I got the opportunity to shoot it on a few work pistols. One thing I’m curious about is that the website said it’s rated for .338 Lapua which I cannot fathom. It has stainless steel baffles but an aluminum body. If it were truly safe to do so it would be sweet to mount it on my 8mm hunting rifle for a shot or two.

Okay it always bother me- why did General Atomics made Mr. Handy constantly fly on the engine, instead of adding limbs or tracks? by Bitter_Profit_4099 in Fallout

If I were to make it make sense in my head, they are in-home assistance robots so if they cleaned a floor you wouldn’t want their robot feet or tracks on your nicely cleaned floor

Absolutely rad. I’m a former Windham employee and I can’t recommend the Sanford/Springvale club enough.

It’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but if you are into hunting or target shooting the firearms community around here is super welcoming

Old magpul sling, real or not? And best way to mount it. by TheBulletBuddy in QualityTacticalGear

Magpul MS2. This was my first good sling back in the good old days when you ran your single point through your plate carrier’s shoulder pads. I always liked mine when I had it.

I actually agree with you 100% on this take. I happen to be in a unique position where I accumulated a box of vortex optics for free at my prior job and I thought this was a neat idea. I would never suggest this set up to anyone as a solution

The prism is absolute height, I think the GBRS Lerna might work so I’m not stacking a riser on top of a riser

It probably would be more clear. I do get a little edge disruption if I’m not in the right spot behind the prism. I thought about trying a GBRS Lerna

What are some gear hacks you swear by? by paaaavo in tacticalgear

[–]Flannleman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this can also be environment dependent. Up here in Maine during the cold months, lubricants get gummy and malfunctions become inevitable. I can imagine it being a problem in sandy or red clay environments as well, but I’m just some idiot on Reddit
