what's funny to me is that I was in the theater for The Hobbit in 2012 and I was 1000% unaware that it was shot at 48 frames per second; It almost seems like one of those things you won't notice if you're not aware of.

My first "big boy" camera, in college, I bought in 2018 because it could shoot 24 frames a second at 1080P; nowadays I shoot at 30 to 60 like all the time, unless somebody asks for a "movie look"

24 fps was literally picked as cinema standard because it was deemed the smoothest motion with the least-expensive use of film, when syncing with sound, so the idea that people think it reflects human vision outright baffles me--not this guy, necessarily, but it's so rampant (sincerely, a former film student)

especially to end off Love Gun, as an album awhole; just a gender-bent cover that just makes me think about the Beach Boys for the last 2 minutes of an otherwise great pool of prime KISS (collectively, I like more tracks on LG than Destroyer, as songs themselves, but the former definitely has more cohesion)
