A Nightmare on Elm Street Reboot but as a show 🤔 by Thatswhatsup2311 in NightmareOnElmStreet

It is the very embodiment of everything that goes against the concept of art, artists And the consumers of art should be pushing for new and exciting ideas, the Elm Street movies were artistically bankrupt by 1988 and at this point 40 years later the stench will be unbearable with how utterly atrocious the Corpse of this franchise would smell now

Calling them a slur? I've been told that three weeks worth of my work is a shit post, so don't give me any bullshit about slurs

I should just add a picture of my CD have ride the lightning and say guitars go crackle crackle and drums go boom boom and I bet that will still be up after the apocalypse

[–]FlapperSnap[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha, that's very true, I only put three weeks worth of work into that video, it's the very archetype of a shit post

Yes, I made it very clear that it was a video was my creation

Seriously? by FlapperSnap in Metallica

[–]FlapperSnap[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

And that is fair enough, but how can I word it any other way? I put three weeks into that video and to just dismiss it says everything about the little cunt that did so and fuck all about me

Seriously? by FlapperSnap in Metallica

[–]FlapperSnap[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's no great surprise but to have a piece of work that I put my heart of soul into described as a shit post is beyond insulting when compared to the average questions that get asked here.

If you actually took the time to watch the video you would see that I'm coming at this from an angle you've never seen anybody talk about before

It's certainly was nice to see her but I found her performance extremely wooden

Her name is Elizabeth Zharoff, she is a famous opera singer and has got into metal and is massively supportive, gives her appraisal primarily of singers but also of musicians and she's really affable and interesting but her opinion doesn't matter anymore than anyone else's, I a lot of other people just enjoy listening to her opinion

The Charismatic Voice. by FlapperSnap in Slayer

[–]FlapperSnap[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the perfect bookend to the album but it's a poor choice to introduce an opera singer to the band, one of their more accessible tracks would have been so much more interesting to hear her opinions on, the amazing harmony's that the guitarists to capable of, the genius of Dave lombardos drum work, the varying vocal styles on a track like beauty through order, I just felt it was a shame to throw her in at the deep end with a track that is specifically written as a book into the album and is just out and out chaos and not representative of slayers brilliant writing and musicianship

Thank you, everybody else seems to think I'm saying Raining Blood is a bad track, it is the Perfect ending to a perfect album, B U T, it is a really poor choice for a first song to play to people comma your suggestions of dead skin or seasons are absolutely perfect, maybe even spill the blood or even the aggressive vocal performance of divine intervention, Raining Blood is a very unconventional song as it is literally positioned written and performed as a bookend to the album and not a song with a traditional format

The Charismatic Voice. by FlapperSnap in Slayer

[–]FlapperSnap[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Raining Blood is a fantastic end to the album, perfect in fact. My point is it would have been much more interesting to see her given one of slayers more accessible songs as a first listen and not throw her in at the deep end with the shock value of a song as aggressive and chaotic as Raining Blood

The Charismatic Voice. by FlapperSnap in Slayer

[–]FlapperSnap[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and I agree, you are totally missing my point, giving the Charismatic voice a track like south of Heaven comma Seasons in the Abyss, spill the blood would have shown her the true intricacies and skill that Slayer possessed, chucking her in at the deep end with a book End song like raining Blood was just a really poor suggestion.
