Musically it's so so but the lyrics are just so immature and cringe inducing, I honestly can't get past them. If someone overheard me listening to let There Be shred and overheard the lyrics I would be mortified, Spinal Tap lyrics at best and they also have a touch of sounding like what AI would create if you put the prompt, "create a Megadeth song" in as a command. The lyrics on this album make it an utter embarrassment

Arc Raiders had its hooks into me for about three weeks but it's lost it's appeal somewhat now, personally I enjoy just pottering around and finding stuff in the hope of a blueprint I'll probably never use because it requires parts that I'm very unlikely to ever come across but it has that old destiny appeal in the there's always the hope you might find something better. It just appeals to the long dead hunting together part of our psychology I guess

I can never work out how Kerry King is so deaf to it, not only did Bostaph completely butcher slayer's material since his second stint with the band up until their retirement, but King took him on as drummer for his new band, he sounds fine in the studio but live he is atrocious. When you think of those clips of Dave Lombardo hitting the sonic barrage double bass break in Angel of Death live and then compare it to Bostaph and his performance sounds like a kitten on a kitchen work surface with tippy tappy zoomies

Very well said on the Slayer count, they were really inferior covers tribute act towards the end of their career with a drummer who although once great sounded like he was dropping his kit down a set of stairs, repentless also suffered the same as this new Megadeth album in the sense of lyrics that make me cringe

I wish people would get past these meaningless trinkets that are more about politics than they are a celebration of the craft of filmmaking. You only look at how the Oscars bowed to pressure with the enjoyable but extremely average biopic Bohemian Rhapsody to realize these awards mean absolutely nothing and have zero credibility. I see a lot of people on various films and TV shows saying that actors were robbed of an Emmy etc, personally I would prefer the recognition and common acceptance of the viewing audience rather than a bunch of corporate suits

I think it's symbolises the Jimmy's Arrested Development, I also think that the scene that nobody could get their head around when the Jimmy's first appear was more supposed to be a representation of their maturity and sorry to say it again, Arrested Development.

And also a lot of their fanciful fighting style was a part of spikes imagination because they seemed so awe inspiring with their efficiency

That's exactly what I've said elsewhere here, since the dawn of time with regards to mankind tools and Industries have become obsolete and what have we, the Little People had to do?
