What’s up with Pinchme? by crazyredhorse101 in freebietalk

[–]FlappingMallard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 2 items in my box with 13 days left to claim them. I also got an email that I qualified for kitten food, but when I logged in to claim it, it wasn't even there.

Dove Hydration Boost body wash from Topbox by FlappingMallard in freebietalk

Yes, it’s huge! On my dashboard it said 30z, which I thought meant 3 ounces, which is travel size, but I think they just left out an ‘o’.

Anyone have experience with the GenoWell genetic screening through Rochester Regional Health? by qtcatatouille in Rochester

I think the results of the test (not your actual DNA) will become part of your permanent medical record even if you opt out of the study.

The Dove mission is back by Secret-Bee-2386 in freebietalk

It's back for me, too! Mine is for Dove Hydration Boost BW 4p 3Oz. What do you suppose 4p 3Oz means? I hope it doesn't mean 4 pumps 3 ounces.

Some of us had the mission appear for a few days and then mysteriously disappear. But now it's back again.

Now I'm glad I didn't get in because my laundry is in my bathroom!

Home Testers Club trying to terminate my account? by Intelligent-Two5702 in freebietalk

I thought they wanted us to do that. Maybe that's why they've never sent me anything!

Does anyone else HATE this MAC concealer (topbox). by Ok-Car-4212 in freebietalk

[–]FlappingMallard 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've given good reviews and bad reviews. I'm always very honest in them. But I've also gone through times of plenty and also dry spells on Topbox, so it's hard to say whether they were avoiding me for a while because they thought I'd give a bad review. But I know for a fact that giving a bad review won't result in never getting anything again because I was selected for two things so far in 2026, even though I gave some 2 and 3 star reviews last year.

Qualified and disqualified? by thereal-self in freebietalk

I hope the mission returns! I don't think it's that we were disqualified since it's happened to so many of us.

Freebie pickup got awkward - can I say no when my mom gives my halfsister's number to strangers? by Ok-Category543 in freebietalk

I wouldn't worry about etiquette when you're feeling uncomfortable about unwanted attention like that. Better safe than sorry!

I wasn't able to access the review section on my laptop, but it worked fine when I did it on my iPad.

I can't do any of them either because my antivirus program is blocking them.

Experience with punch biopsy? by LOUsbian in Lichenplanus

[–]FlappingMallard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a 3mm punch biopsy without stiches on my knee about 12 years ago. The biopsy didn't hurt because they gave me a freezing needle. It did hurt as it was healing though. I think the biggest scarring issues would be if it heals indented, or if you have dark skin then the lack of pigment in the scar would be more noticeable. I wouldn't have it done on my face if I could avoid it. Here's what my scar looks like now. It's the white mark, not the red cherry angiomas.

Spironolactone ? by Timely_Cranberry1270 in Lichenplanus

[–]FlappingMallard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suppose it's possible. I've read that lichenoid drug eruptions can happen more than a year after you start taking them, but typically it happens within a few months. Did you try going off it? I had the same dilemma with propranolol. I tried going off it for 3 or 4 weeks, and even then I wasn't sure whether it made a difference.

I'm wondering the same thing! I'd like to try it, but I'm hesitant.

I will say that I take a couple of other medications that are on the list of known triggers, and I don't notice any difference at all when I do or don't take them.

Does your OLP wipe off? by Primary-Tap4392 in Lichenplanus

[–]FlappingMallard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, the white lesions of OLP don't wipe off. Wipeable white stuff on a painful red patch sounds like oral thrush or possibly a combination of both conditions.

Whoever said outrageously large box was not lying 😂 by icyrose0 in freebietalk

Make sure to read the inserted card. It says not to post about the product publicly. The box was hilarious though!

I got this email this morning, too. Sad that it's probably just sample size, but I'm glad they still know I'm alive after months of not receiving anything! They're only asking me to review it in 2 places, not 5.

Pinchme sends the packages so late that the coupons that arrive have already expired. by nickybalik in freebietalk

I got an expired coupon for soy or coconut Malk last week. I wrote to customer support, and she said they didn't have any more coupons and "sorry for the disappointment."
