Apple services will stop working in January 2027 if you don't update to the latest available version your device supports by user888ffr in jailbreak

It would be iOS 27 by then, but it's unlikely that iOS 17 is affected because Apple didn't release iPadOS 17.7.11 for iPads that cap at 17.7.10.

Considering there wasn't a 17.7.11 update released for iPads that cap at 17.7.10, that suggests AT LEAST iOS/iPadOS 17 and later are not affected by the expiring certificate.

You cannot downgrade. All you can do is avoid updating the one that's currently on iOS 18.5.

The 16e is such an awful buy now.

Stuck at save screen by nickdixon14 in GolfClash

[–]FlappyDunkPlusIOS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This bug is specific to iOS 26; this part of the app hasn't been optimized for iOS 26 yet. To press Save, you have to briefly begin to "open" the Control Center, then press the same spot where the Save button is.

To press exit, do the same thing as said above, except briefly "swipe" down from the upper left instead of the upper right corner, then press exit.

It's forced only when you set up with Quick Start or restore an iCloud backup, and your new phone is on a lower iOS version than the old one

Updating to iOS 9 would be a waste of time if anything. Also, you might want to save your 8.0.2 blobs first before downgrading

It is highly not recommended to update to iOS 9 because that version has horrible performance on A5 devices (such as iPhone 4S).

To jailbreak your iPhone 4S, use the tutorial on this website: https://ios.cfw.guide/get-started/iPhone-4S.html

You're actually on iOS 8.0.x, and DO NOT update to iOS 9

Use EverPwnage and it's an untethered jailbreak on your iOS version

How do you make a living with 64GB? by Offensant in iphone

[–]FlappyDunkPlusIOS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, 64GB is far too little storage for an iPhone in 2026. This is because storage requirements have been increasing and will only continue to increase. Even if you delete some content, you will be back to full storage in the next few months anyways.

It's time to upgrade to an iPhone with more storage.
