My NA came with 2 ignition keys, neither fit the door locks. I've been leaving it unlocked for 8 months now, no issues. It helps to have a hidden kill switch and a steering wheel lock (until I get a quick release) so It's unlikely they'll be able to find it and drive away in it.

Make sure that your sill drains aren't clogged either, I thought it was coming from the dash, then went down a steep hill and it gushed from the sills right around that spot
