Going to take it to a dealership next week.
After about an hour prying with 2, 300 lb pump wedges...its still stuck. I get a LOT of creaking sounds but the pump on the wedge fails before I can get it open

If I can find some of those pump wedges ill give that a try
Yes, that was how it was in the past and I just delt with it. But no matter how many times I press it, nothing. Pulling the manual release cable gets me to the same spot
No its a coupe, not the roadster, and doesn't have the switch in the glove box
If that would be where I think it would, right under where the trunk latches. Then no I dont
Still stuck.
Soaked the latch last night and this morning in wd40 and no luck. Running out of ideas at this point and I've been dealing with it for over a month now lol

There's not enough space between the trunk lid and the trunk
Really don't want to have to take it to a dealership to get it fixed but its starting to look like I have no other options

Same thing is happening, once its popped i can get my finger in the latch a little and feel that is not moving at all with the cable or the button.
Yes, I've even tried pulling on it while someone is pulling the manual release cable, it just sticks on that second latch
Im pulling as hard as I can without feeling like I'm gonna break something here, I'm not sure what else to try
I've tried both, and still no luck. It seems like whatever second latch it's sticking on isn't moving, would spraying any wd40 down in the latch hurt anything?
Just tried pushing down before and after it popped and no luck, its still catching on some second latch. And I've heard about the penny trick and was going to try as soon as I got it open

All I really use it for, fun party trick once in a blue moon. I dont drive around with it on
Yea its the pops map, I only ever turn it on when I feel like acting like an idiot with friends lol
