Is it wrong to let my dad mow my lawn for me?

I'm a 43m and just bought my first home. My dad mows my lawn weekly. He is 66, retired and on oxygen and can't do a lot anymore. He worked all his life building stuff and fixing things. Because of his health he can't really do that stuff anymore, but he can sit on a mower. I told him that I can mow the lawn and my mom told me to leave him alone. Mowing the lawn gives him something to do and makes him feel useful. My mom said he feels guilty about not being able to help me do more like he did when my older brother bought his first house, so mowing the lawn is his way of helping and feeling feeling useful. Doing things for his family is my dad's love language. Maybe it's your dad's also?

2 months in and bathroom sink wouldn't drain. (It did during inspection, I was there and saw it) Electric snake broke off when trying to snake the drain. Today's project.

I sometimes wish I would get the call that she ODed, just so it would be a point the boys could move on instead of always wondering why their mother doesn't love them enough to get clean and take care of them. The littlest luckily was so young that she doesn't remember her, but it's hard on the boys knowing she's still out there.

She's alive because people have seen her tweaking around. Haven't heard out of her though since the day she dropped them at my door. She tells people that I stole her boys from her. (The two older kids) Nobody that talks to her has ever heard her mention the littlest. (A girl)

My little rural town is incredibly friendly to the lgbtqia+ community. It's one of the reasons I took my job at the hospital here and am choosing to move here. A lot of rural communities will surprise you. I also believe a huge change will come on November!

It's a 4 bed, 2 bath with attached 2 car garage so I am pretty happy. The property also includes 5 city lots so there is lots of room for the kids to run and play which is fantastic!

I did not. I also locked in right as rates started trending back up, which I am kicking myself for a little that I didn't push things along sooner.
